Our purpose
Empowering students. Strengthening communities.
Selina Kingalame Foundation supports Tanzanian students and communities at large in achieving their academic, personal and career aspirations by promoting access to quality education, career guidance, mentorship, skills development and leadership opportunities.
We also work to improve the welfare of students, literate community members and the wider public through advocacy, capacity-building programmes, psychosocial support, and initiatives that enhance learning environments.
Beyond the classroom, we address the broader social and economic challenges affecting education by implementing community-based programmes that promote social inclusion, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.

A Tanzania where every student — regardless of background — has the education, guidance and support needed to reach their full potential.
Our Mission
To widen access to quality education and strengthen the social services and community structures that let learning take root and last.
